The final script and language

Send the closest-to-final script, the exact language or dialect, and phonetic notes or reference audio for names, abbreviations and technical terms.

Audience, purpose and tone

Explain where the audience will hear the recording and what the message should achieve. Include one or two useful tone references, while leaving room for the artiste’s interpretation.

Timing and visual reference

Mark strict durations and supply the picture, storyboard or time-coded script when the voice must match an edit. Highlight lines that can be adjusted if timing is tight.

Usage and distribution

State whether the audio is organic content, paid advertising, internal communication, broadcast, an app, a course or another use. Include territory and licence duration.

Technical delivery

Specify mono or stereo, WAV or MP3, sample rate, separate files, naming rules and whether you need raw or cleaned audio. Include the final deadline and feedback contact.
